As the Young Performer Supervisor on this production, I worked with our 7-year-old actress who played Ivonka. I ensured she was at each entrance on time, practiced the blocking and dancing with her, and coordinated with her parents regarding drop off and pick up. I additionally ensured all interactions with her from the cast and greater production team were appropriate and not interruptive to the process.

Course Description: This course explores the process of engaging children with theatre games and techniques as a means towards self-expression, personal development and content learning.

This class involved an abundance of peer learning, field trips, and a final project in which we each taught our own lesson in different classrooms across Chicago!

I have served as a camp director for Summer on Broadway Rising for three years. In this position I have:

Built four separate two week curriculums for campers ages 5-7 including theatre games, music, dance, and craft activities
Communicated with parents via app and email
Led a team of 3 in creating a safe and fun atmosphere for up to 20 campers
